Let me introduce you to my baby girl kitty BeeBee! She is 4 yrs old and just the most amazing cat ever. I have my Simon, and my Poly Gali, however, there's nothing on earth that compares to a girl!! Let me give you her back story. So, it was November 2017, and my Mom was still in a deep depression over the loss of my sister Rose, she was murdered, so, yeah, anyway, we won't get into that story here. It was the Saturday night after Thanksgiving, and I went outside to check on my feral tom cat Sir Lancelot, whom, I had been taking care of for a few years, and I go outside to check on him, and he met me on the porch and meowed so I asked him what's wrong (yeah I know I am an idiot, I talk to my cats like they're people, whatever I don't care!), so he then leads me down the driveway, and then down a little way on the sidewalk, to where our 70 ft evergreen hung over the sidewalk, Lancy sat down and looked up, I then hear the faintest of meows, and I hear it again, so I rushed inside to get my Mom's help and I grab the 6 ft step ladder, I then proceed to climb up and I had to stand on the very top step, hoping like hell I didn't fall. I hear the little meow again, and I say please kitty don't scratch my face off because I still couldn't see who or what or how big was up there, I separate the branches and to my amazement, there was this little black puffball, she let me grab her as if knowing I wasn't going to hurt her, I began to climb down the ladder with her in my arms. I rushed her inside and was able to see how small she really was, she was no more than 10-11 weeks old, I couldn't believe it, and the only way she was up so high in the tree is because Lancy, my feral tom had chased her. And I am glad he did. Sir Lancelot saved her life, he was the one who told me what he had done, and I think he knew that I would help her! I gave him some fresh tuna for living up to his name, he was "her" knight in shining armor, and he saved her life! (Told you I was a dork!) Back to BeeBee, I knew that stores would be open extended hours that weekend, so while my Mom watched her, I rushed to get her baby cat food, as well as formula, and a few other things she might need. She was this amazing little black puffball, and we had decided to keep her until she got a little older before we took her to a no-kill shelter, that's what my Mom wanted to do because remember, we already have a cat Simon Ian, and we weren't sure that he would accept having another cat. So, in order to keep her safe, my Mom decided to keep her in the bedroom with her, and she let the kitty sleep on her, in fuzzy warm blankets of course, and at this point, we hadn't named her, so we were calling her kitty. I was also spending a lot of time with her carrying her around, and well just babying the hell outta her. Well fast forward a couple of months, I decided to name her BeeBee Rose, and my Mom kept insisting lets takes her to the shelter, and I was sick of hearing it, so I handed her the carrier and said you know where it's at, take her yourself, coz I am not having anything to do with it. So at that point I had said screw it, she was about 3 or so months old and I introduced her to Simon, and you know kitties, they either want to be friendly or they throw tude, well Simon took to her right away, and well, after a few minutes BeeBee was all over him! I looked at my Mom, and asked her, " So, do you still want to get rid of her?" She said, " No, I didn't want to, you know that!" Well fast forward 4 years, and BeeBee and Simon are the best of friends, Simon is the best Big Brother ever, they are like butt and underwear, always together! BeeBee also loves to be on and in fuzzy blankets, she loves to sleep with my Mom for hours.
BeeBee is so crazy smart, she understands everything you are saying, so we have to be careful! She is so amazingly sweet, which we attribute to how we raised her. With that being said, she has an attitude, so you have to watch out because she will let you know what's up! She also growls, like Gali, it sounds like a dog, and for someone so small,5 pounds to be exact, it will give you pause. She is wicked fast and loves to run around doing laps inside the house. Like I said earlier she and Simon are the best of friends, and she has brought out the kitty in Simon, I didn't realize that he was lonely. She is a little spaz, and she also likes to play hide n' seek, she'll hide and even though you know exactly where she is and even see her, we walk past saying, " Where's BeeBee", and she expects that, so you have to play! She loves going outside on our adventures, which is in the backyard, she is harness/leash trained, and so she and Simon go outside together, Simon doesn't require a harness anymore, he stopped needing one when he was 6. BeeBee is so extremely spoiled, and so are my other two, but there's something about a little girl so it goes without saying.
I apologize that this post is so long, and to be honest there isn't enough time to tell you everything about my babies, so yeah. Thanks for being the amazing community, you guys make everything better!!
