I haven't really been following this, but it's impossible not to hear some of the stories because the news is constantly beating their drum. IMHO, I think they're both toxic personalities and, in a way, deserved each other. One may be suing the other for $100 million or $50 million, but if the courts have any smarts, they'll let both plaintiffs win, but award them damages of $2 and $1 respectively.
Imagine the legal fees. I know a guy who is in an epic divorce hell. It’s dragging on and it’s cost more than my house is worth for lawyers. It makes me physically ill to think about!
Been following on tiktok. I dislike her and find her to be a liar and so self-serving with her timing of the op-ed, etc. etc. I hope he wins and then doesn’t make her pay or gives her payments to charity like she was supposed to do. I loved seeing Camille at work. Man is she good and has essentially made it after this trial. I feel bad for Amber’s lawyers. Hope the jury comes back quickly!

Depp selects a lot of oddball characters and storylines. Usually, I enjoy his performances.
The first my attention was turned to his personal life was via the unflattering interview story in "Rolling Stone" magazine. My takeaway is that he is over the top in his abuse of certain substances like hash and wine. If I recall correctly hard drugs weren't his thing. Regardless my understanding is that his lifestyle is somewhat less than healthy and wholesome.
I'm clueless and disinterested in his public soap opera with this woman. My limited experience with troublesome relationships is brief. There's enough on my plate dealing with normal issues let alone Bizzaro world personal issues.

Only, it won't be a wash. Amber won't work again in Hollywood. Depp will get his career back -- the overwhelming public support for him will see to it. I'd wager Hollywood already has the data in terms of streaming numbers of old movies of his, and is like "well ok we can stick him in a new pirates movie, make bank, and not get canceled over it".

Really liked how respectful he was of the actress in What’s Eating Gilbert Grape. Also seemed like a decent and adjusted person when he was with the mother of his kids. Maybe some people just bring out the worst in each other and he and Heard did. I have nothing nice ot say about Heard except she was ok in the movie where I barely noticed her because I have the hots for the artist that portrayed Khal Drogo in the dragon show when it was still good.
Trials are sooooo boring to me, so I haven't watched. Jebus, how I loved him in WEGG. Mad crush. That hair. OMG. Funny, how you think, "Someone is so lucky to have him!" but you know, as we get older, we realize that these people we idolize are just everyday shitheads, like the rest of us, but better looking.

There's no excuse ever where a man has the right to strike a female in a domestic situation.It's just wrong on every level.I think a lot of his support is coming from female fans going "oh Johnny,o Johnny"! Fame is no excuse!
