I've noticed that produce, at least in my part of the US, has been pretty low quality for a year or so. I guess it's a supply chain issue? Anyway things like fresh herbs and tomatoes and green onions seem to start rotting within a couple days. As a vegetarian who almost exclusively cooks from scratch, this is fucking maddening*. Does anyone have tips for making the best of this?
*I know I'm privileged. I'm trying to avoid waste.
