As some of you know, we where one of the first countries to lift all restrictions late in January. Life has been back to normal since then. We where the first to get the BA.2 variation. Yes, we moved right from Delta to BA.2.
3.5 months later and everything is still fine. The latest Covid data from says 5 on intensive care and 2 is on life support. It was 1 person in the last 2 weeks. But maybe a good old Delta? We are 6 million in Denmark.
I will show you a very old 3 month old booster status from Denmark. It is in danish, but I think you can read it. The dark blue is people that had not booked yet .
Denmark Covid death stats:
Women: 46 Men: 81
The U.S.number is for every 100 women who die of Covid, 184 men perish. Almost identical ratio to Denmark total.
Also, Denmark's population is 600,000 more than the population of South Carolina.
Covid deaths? Denmark 6,260 and South Carolina 17,869. Percentage vaccinated?
Denmark 83% South Carolina is at 57%. The trend will continue as long as the virus does. Dumb asses don't learn
The Vaccine is the answer. And no JJ og AstraZeneca. Nearly all people I know is vaccinated and we all got Covid. We have free education and health care and while I dont want to be political, but it all helps. We are extremely digitalized, something that helps when you need to communicate or make decisions based on facts. The authorities can see all data on every citizen all the time. I know it will scare a lot of Americans... But we are used to it.
If you look very deep in the details from Covid death cases in Denmark you can get some pretty interesting details:
Deaths per 100.000:
Women: 46
Men: 81
Employed: 8
Unemployed: 23
Outside the working force: 34
Children and students: 5
Low Income: 65
High Income: 26
(based on 50/50)
Only the basic(before high school) school education: 24
Academics: 7
Immigrants outside the Western countries: 197
Based on data from 1. March 2022 and all deaths tested positive with Covid up to 4 weeks before.
Okay, now I see it. Something is not adding up. How can there be so few deaths with that many infections? Compare it to a US state of similar size like Washington. There are more than double the deaths and half the infections. 1.5 mil cases, 12,000 deaths, 54,000 current cases.
Blood donor screening since the beginning of COVID says about 70% of all Danes has been infected. And nearly 50% with the Omicron BA.2. You can not use the death numbers at all. It is all with a positive test 4 weeks back. When the Omicron was at its max. nearly 25% of all Danes was infected in a 4 week period. The latest Delta numbers said around 2,000 related Covid deaths. And it is not much higher since then.
What's rotten? Looks like Denmark is doing damn good.
Plus you all sound like Bond villians when you speak English.
Is herd immunity real? It shows that half the population has been infected. https://www.worldometers.info/coronavirus/country/denmark/
