I am not sure why one would take a hand selfie as your loved one dies. Nothing makes sense with these people.

After graduation in 1982, he joined the Army Reserves serving as a light wheel vehicle mechanic.

Enlisted in the Air Force as a Security Police Specialist guarding planes and weapons where he met his future teen bride Suzii whom he married April 10, 1987 (Suzii’s 18th birthday as they carefully point out) *The timeline falters here.

After being discharged from the Airforce for some reason, he became a reserve police officer. In 1988, was a Certified Nursing Assistant at a Nursing Center in Colville, Washington for ten years.

Hannah Ranay was born on March 16, 1988.

At 32 Rich got sick and could no longer work. Dec.1996, diagnosed with congestive heart failure. 2001, implanted with a Left Ventricular Assist Device in his abdomen until his heart transplant in June 2001.

In 2006, became Volunteer EMT for Beallsville, his kidneys failed and on dialysis three times a week until kidney transplant 2010... and after a couple of years, kidney failure requiring dialysis and another kidney transplant.

"May of 2022, Rich was diagnosed with COVID.  Because of his compromised immune system from his anti-rejection medicine, Rich was in the hospital for eight months out of that year. In August, he went into a nursing facility for physical and occupational therapy."

The fellow seemed to never have held a good paying job for the entire marriage and the wife was the bread winner. She was obviously someone who took the marriage vows very seriously, and loved her husband. Suzii is not one of the members of the evil SAV wives club! (Although I have not found her social media as there are far too many of them)

After seeing the pictures below I looked through Reddit HCA because I recognized this set of pictures, but darned if I could find them again, sigh. (Edited... I found them. See the updates in comments)

I will keep looking because there are more pics than this that put him in Fecesbook jail!

I do feel sad that Rich had such a tough life... and was ill so early in it, but he insists he "helped people" for 41 years and is now asking for the help of others. I think they missed telling us of the "help" he gave others other then being fairly positive he would give the shirt off his back. (And being unable to articulate even that old and much overused expression... See * above)

Three people did give him organs, and there were likely thousands of Healthcare workers along the way who helped him during each of his many illnesses that he AND HIS FAMILY left out of any thank yous. Someone on Reddit quoted him as writing: “when ever i was called 99.99998 % of the time i was there... but now when im down wheres my help.?”
