No. My husband and I had a home yoga practice before the pandemic. We do a 20 minute practice 5-7 times a week. I started taking walks in Jan 2021, do a half mile. I love to cook and we were having groceries delivered from Whole Foods, so we ate organic. I highly recommend the book "Intuitive Eating".
@Kiki That is uber hot in May, maybe not for NM, but for PNW, we couldn't deal with that!! Not summer yet even...ugh!! The hottest I've ever experienced was in Phoenix at 113, in the dead of summer though, sweaty days for real. Keep cool & stay well!
Oh Kiki, thank you. I’ve been trying to go no carbs, and mostly successful. I am in congestive heart failure, and literally can gain 5-6 pounds overnight. Then I have rto take water pills for 3 days. So then I get discouraged. When I do no carbs after a few days I start losing a pound a day. My weakness is cheese popcorn because it has 100 calories. for 6 months. I have had a small steak and cucumber a day. That’s it ExCEPT for the popcorn. I know I am taken in no more than 1000 calories a day, bit not losing consistently any suggestions would be most welcomed!!!!’ I am going to sleep now, but will run here in morning. Sleep well dear Kiki!!

Covid and health issues. I went from extremely active, to very sick almost overnight. It has taken Two years to recover, and in this time, I have become soft and very out of shape. I could use some recipes!

I have 2 great recipes, both vegan.

Alterations I make:
No red onion. It's too much.
Just 1-2 shredded carrots is plenty
I do 3 cups of cabbage for crunch and to add more veggies
Less soy sauce
Olive oil is not necessary
The second is a melon salad. You can use any melons you feel like.
My only alteration on this one is it calls for 1/2 cup of white onion, which is insane. I use maybe 3 tablespoons instead.
