Is today, liberation day, the beginning of the end of MAGA

I'm already veering from the format I promised two posts ago. I promise to get back to regular programming. There is just so much to unpack about what's happening right now, but also this becomes even more justification for presenting and documenting the reactions of MAGA voters as they realize that they've been betrayed. I found this interview with David Frum and he gives a raw and brilliant view of what's happening with Trump and his administration. He declines to call this administration's actions as isolationists and instead considers this administration as predators. He points out how the Atlantic-European region has experienced one hegemony after another, and that world neighbors end up banding together against such hegemony to end it. He gives many examples but then points out that American hegemony has been different. Firstly, that no nation has ever been this powerful, but that we've held off this gang of nations who would topples us us by offering really good deals that benefit those nations, like welcoming them into world trade, involving them in international banking systems, protection militarily, humanitarian aid, etc. All of that good will is being crushed, and now we are the obnoxious predatory nation that has become dangerous, and we're seeing these nations form coalitions to fight back.

I'm now realizing that there is a war going on between MAGA, and not just two thirds of Americans but the rest of the world who is already forming a coalition against this obnoxious administration. I'm now certain that MAGA is going to lose because America is NOT a fertile ground for fascism like some countries were in the 1930s when the fascists took advantage of the terrible economic situation and then pumped government money into building armies, tanks and planes and economically improved peoples lives which gave them more power. No, the economy was great when these wanna-be fascists clowns entered the white house, and its looking very much like the very people who put this idiot in charge are the ones who are going to suffer the most because of it. And they will turn on Trump. I believe they will, and we are here to document it. So, they are going to lose. The question is, how much of the damage that they are doing is going to be permanent. Certainly other nations can't trust America anymore.

Even today, 5 GOP senators voted with the Democrats to condemn these Trump tariffs.

I can see a glimmer of light at the end of this tunnel, let's just hope its not a train.
