A blue dot in the reddest US House district in the nation. Appointed to village board (city council) in 2012 on the death of a trustee, reëlected in 2014, defeated by three votes in 2018. Dropped out of state legislature race; running for village board to regain my seat there. I was vaccinated as soon as it was available in January to me. I made two three hundred mile round trips by car to get it, precisely because I don't want to "live in fear."
