The original Xanthippe was a famous scold, and when the lockdown started, I was nagging family and friends to follow the rules. Not everyone did. 3 years into a world pandemic, I've gotten so crabby I want to bitch slap every anti-vaxxer/anti-masker I see (or read about). Two Pfizer vaccine shots, three boosters in, I have zero tolerance for their stupid anymore. But I can't slap everyone, so it's better to come here to SAV and spew my vitriol whenever it reaches boiling point.
