The news keeps reporting how the Russian people are against the war, and how Russian soldiers are being humiliated and yelled at by Ukrainians. as if those actions will stop the war. The US populace couldn't stop the Iraq war, and I don't think any of the US soldiers in Iraq were swayed by pleas from Iraqis. So I guess I'm trying to figure out how the Russian people can stop this way.

The fact that they made it illegal to study gun incidents just shows how abjectly corrupt they are.

@siva.chander I keep wondering about the communications between the 911 dispatchers and the police on the scene. Were there no communications? How did they break down?

@MucusPlug The video of them wrestling that parent to the ground in gang formation tells on them. A gunman was nearby killing children and they were ganging up on a parent. From the video they made no effort at crowd control or to give out information.

@WTF Vax Up Of course you are concerned about your grandchildren and all other children. This whole thing is sickening. We are doing acrobatics to accommodate the gun lobby selling more guns. A friend with young children told me that her kids are taught, in case of a shooter, to go hide in bathrooms, sit on toilets in stalls, and say to themselves, "Criss cross, applesauce" so they'll remember to cross their legs so the shooter can't see them under the stall. We do all this so politicians and the gun industry can make money. It's Obscene! I've seen a magazine called "Guns and Gardens" which is dedicated to normalizing guns by using the imagery of gardens. OBSCENE! We are all sick at our stomachs right now, searching for answers.
