If you can benefit from President Biden's loan forgiveness but already paid off your amount, please know that you can be refunded any amounts you paid since March 2020 and then apply for the loan forgiveness. Please call your lender. 1. Someone stated on Twitter tonight that they didn't understand "Why were Senate Republicans willing to ruin the lives of people who voted for them in order to own the libs?" (This question stems from Senate Republicans blocking the passage that would reduce the cost of insulin to $35 for everyone.) Below is the best answer I have read: (ThreadReader Summary: Full Twitter thread without the Twitter noise) (Twitter Direct Link: https://twitter.com/Teri_Kanefield/status/1556419743552135168?s=20&t=-uPM1AnoO0utgJDThT1t5w )

If you are a fan of Mark Greaney's The Gray Man book series, then I'm sharing awareness that the new Netflix film will have limited theatrical viewing for approximately 7 days (July 14th - July 21st) in the US and the UK. It will be released globally on Netflix on July 22nd. Movies were my guilty pleasure during COVID when I realized I could rent a whole theater for a watch party with 20 family/friends. We still go occasionally, but still fully masked up and won't eat at the theaters. Buying a bag of popcorn to take home instead is awesome! Look at your local Cinemark listings to get showtimes near you: JULY 14th ONLY: The Gray Man Early Screenings and Live Q&A with Cast & Filmmakers JULY 14th - 21st: The Gray Man has multiple daily showings MOVIE TRAILER: https://youtu.be/BmllggGO4pM HELPFUL ARTICLE: https://www.whats-on-netflix.com/news/where-and-how-to-watch-the-gray-man-in-theaters/ (P.S. I'm not affiliated with Netflix, print/movie productions, The Gray Man, nor anything to do with this genre/business. I'm just excited when a book series I love is done well. I am a fan of the Russo Brothers from their Arrested Development days and all the Marvel movies they produced - The Winter Soldier, Civil War, Infinity War, and Endgame. I purchased tickets already to ensure we have our seats, but delayed sharing is still caring, right?!)

It is important in Nov 2022 elections that we vote as many Democrats in, but we really need 67+ seats to have the 2/3 votes needed to impeach Supreme Court justices and to expand the courts. I will be happy if we get at least 60 seats, but it would be in our best interest to get more. I am an Independent, but I'm constantly arguing with Progressives/Democrats who keep saying that the overturning Roe vs. Wade was the Dems fault for not codifying it when they had a chance. When I ask "when was that realistically possible?" ,,, and their response was that Obama had a Filibuster majority (which was not true). When Obama was elected, his first year was full of strife: Sen. Franken seat was contested for 7 months and he was not seated until July 2009, Sen. Byrd was sick and in the hospital, and Sen. Kennedy's illness/death. Based on calculations, Obama had only 45 working days of a Filibuster majority in his 8 years and that time was used to get the ACA passed in the Senate and House in 2009. We cannot afford another close call or this 50/50 BS. The Dems need the seats to undo as much of the the damage that has been done by this Supreme Court. In addition, they need the seats to be able to pass voting/abortion laws and expand the Supreme Court to 13 judges to match the number of 13 courts: 11 regional circuits, plus the DC Circuit and the Federal Circuit

Justin Beiber and his wife both had COVID-19 again in March. They have never confirmed if they were vaccinated, but since then she has had multiple clots, a stroke, and neurological issues. Now he has a rare neurological syndrome. I'm sorry to hear about this, but I also wonder if they are connected. We will probably never know, but if it is related then maybe the world will start caring about not letting a virus run amock. People don't care about the workers, but they do care about celebrities. P.S.A. I hope people are aware that Monkey Pox is also airborne. Please just mask up.

FACT#1: In 2020, Texas had a 14.2% gun death rate (4,164 deaths) and IL had a 14.1% gun death rate (1,745 deaths). I'm tired of hearing that crime in Chicago is worse, while people don't look at the real numbers. Gun death by crime may be worse in Chicago, but more people are dying by guns in Texas in cases such as friendly fire, accidental shootings, suicide, etc - CDC NCHS Stats: https://www.cdc.gov/nchs/pressroom/sosmap/firearm_mortality/firearm.htm - https://publichealth.jhu.edu/2022/new-report-highlights-us-2020-gun-related-deaths-highest-number-ever-recorded-by-cdc-gun-homicides-increase-by-more-than-one-third FACT#2: In 1996, the Republican-congress stripped any funding for gun research on behalf of the NRA. That ban is still in place, so there is no regular gun-research and better predictors. - Non-Paywall: https://thehill.com/news/286847-gop-blocks-dem-attempts-to-allow-federal-gun-research/ - Paywall: https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/wonk/wp/2017/10/04/gun-violence-research-has-been-shut-down-for-20-years/ https://www.cdc.gov/nchs/pressroom/sosmap/firearm_mortality/firearm.htm
Facts: Since 2015, TEXAS is leading gun deaths in the USA content media
