First of all, I can't thank everyone here on SAV for helping me retain a sense of sanity during some very dark times in my life, at one stage I thought I was going to drive away, and lose Mrs WolfenBane forever. My life was filled with crushing pain physically, mentally, and emotionally, so much so that sometimes I wondered if it was being worth being alive at all. Filled with pain, depression, and anguish I would spend most of my waking moments at home doing nothing much of anything, I wasn't living, I was merely existing. This wasn't helped when I injured myself, which was made worse by the car accident I was in, then catching covid, and as if life wasn't cruel enough our pet got sick, and we both believed he was going to die. During the most harsh period of lockdowns I stumbled across this site, and it's community of people fed up with the selfish actions of anti vaxxers causing death, disarray, chaos, suffering, and prolonging the pandemic for everyone regardless of where you are on this world. This is where much changed for me, I could express my frustrations with like minded folk, and feel accepted by those who had/have similar negative experiences. In a very short time I could feel my life now being filled with a purpose, something that made me feel positive of myself, while shedding the negatives within my life, and connecting with others that made me feel wanted in a positive way. Even Mrs Wolfenbane was thankful for all that you have helped me, (she preferred to keep in the background, and not be a part of the community here) but she does find many of you amusing, especially during the friendly banter outside of criticising anti vaxxers. So, what does this all mean? Now that life here has returned to a sense of normality, Mrs Wolfenbane & I are spending more time both doing the things we love to do before Covid came along and up ended everyone's lives. This means I'm finding myself visiting here less, and less as time goes on, and I expect at some stage not visiting this site for extended periods of time. No, this is not a goodbye letter, as the word goodbye means "forgotten", and that's something I'll never do is to forget all of you here. That is why I wanted to say Until we meet again, as it implies that we'll come across each other again, somewhere at a point in our lives. I wish all of you nothing but good things in all your lives, especially VaxMan & Vaxxylady for their tireless efforts in maintaining not just the site, but also allowing a community to come together and express our frustrations at those who are a risk to everyone on this big ball of dirt. Also thank you everyone for being here for this "Furry Fucker" (winks at Liverpool), and for the endless laughs & smiles you have gifted to me, that is something that I'll treasure for the rest of my life. This is what happens when you align yourself with the "Leopards eat your face" party. If these Christian Nationalists ever take power, people like Ben Shapiro, Dave Rubin, and many other right wing nutjobs, are going to find out that those they side with, will happily eat their face off. Christian nationalist Andrew Torba, founder of Gab, declares that "Ben Shapiro and other nonbelievers, they're not allowed to have a prominent voice in our movement because they don't share our values. ... Firstly, even though it's been said by many before, thank you to VaxMan, and VaxxyLady for all the effort they put into this site. Trying to do something like this is not an easy task, and can get very overwhelming at times, sometimes seeming like you're not appreciated for your blood, sweat, and beers. I can honestly say that this site, and it's community helped me through some low points in my life, and it brought many smiles, and laughter, to my at times bleak days. There's two words that can make the difference in your day/night, and even in your life, just by saying thank you. Try to bring the words into every aspect of your life, be it here, at the store for groceries, on the phone, visiting friends & family, to your doctor for doing their best to care for you, even saying it to someone that you don't know for their kind gesture where ever you may be. Those two words can save so many people in so many different ways. Also, thank you to the many folk on here that I have formed friendships with, and enjoyed reading their witty, at time withering comments on those that took themselves out of the gene pool due to their belligerent ignorance. I was somewhat surprised at how accepting many people are here, I thought many times that some of you folk would scratching their heads in bewilderment with the comments I was making at times. But if anything, you're more accepting, and respectful than many, many others that are, how can I say this, "within the groups". that I thought were our friends, who turned out to be some of the most toxic people we've ever known. Again thank you all for being you, and keep on being the awesome people that you are.

While counting is still continuing, over in the Murdoch "Sky News" corner the "After Dark" Opinion hosts are not coping very well with the conservative party's recent lost. (Again, the conservative party here is called the Liberal party, confusing yes.) It's almost a "copy & paste" of what's happening in the right wing media bubble in the US. They're very salty about their guy losing because their party must now lurch further to the right to attract conservative voters once again. Here's one quote that could easily be inserted into the talking heads narrative on Fox. "Outsiders co-host Rowan Dean wasn’t taking it well. The editor of the Spectator said we were facing “three years of hard-core left-wing government that will destroy the fabric of this nation”. I'm basking is the energy from their hyperventilating, and drinking those ever so salty tears!

Before I comment on my reaction, you need to know this - The Australian Liberal party, is in fact a party of neo conservatives, confusing? Yes it is. A party that is now looking to lurch further to the hard right after it's defeat, does that remind you of anyone? However the former Prime Minister conceded defeat, and congratulated his colleague across the isle, unlike someone else we all know. Anyway my reaction? Well after nine years of suffering from a corrupt, mean, tricky, and scandal laden party, a fresh breeze tantalises us all with hope of unity rather than divisive, racist, bigoted attacks towards the most vulnerable Australians, including marginalized groups such as the, homeless, poor, immigrants, LGBTQ, and indigenous communities. I have many issues with the incoming government, but with the significant rise of progressive independent candidates winning over seats formally held in conservative "safe seats" matters such as climate change, environment protections, inequality, and integrity are now prominent issues that will gain more attention then they have done in the past.
