With so many quitting or retiring early after being threatened and harassed, we are freaking doomed if we get another spike of ANY virus again. That will take us back to the late 1800s when it was a free for all to live and let die... and plenty did...

These are also the same f*ckers who want less regulations, think climate change is a hoax, are greedy POS, insurrectionists, nationalists and Nazis who think they know better then scientists and teachers and any expert.

I am glad your hubby made it out in time, but his colleagues might need moral support if he can muster it.

Sigh. I kept reading and the numbers were astounding. These are from the beginning of the pandemic, the vaccines mandates began.

'Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health analyzed results from a national survey of 583 local health departments conducted between March 2020 to January 2021.'

The survey ... identified 1,499 distinct reports of harassment during the first 11 months of the pandemic. These incidents involved personal threats against officials, vandalism and making their private information public, among other forms of harassment, according to The Washington Post.

Fifty-seven percent of public health departments surveyed had experienced harassment, and 222 public health officials left their positions during the survey period, researchers found.
