Florida's done nothing about the outbreak. In Ohio, 42% of the kids infected during a similar outbreak had to be admitted to a hospital. Hospitals have minimal staffed beds for pediatric patients. Another nightmare created by the right wing "genius" MAGA crowd and the RFK Jr useful idiots!

That was a really good 3 article read ... and rather scary. Lobbyists assured that Lapado was quickly hired to also fast track the transition to removing all traces that a pandemic was still raging in Florida. (and perhaps still is being they are not providing accurate info) And now, ignoring measles...
Forgive the repetition, but it needs to be said. Public health should not be under the thumb of idiot politicians. (And their benefactors)
Hello Mary. Thanks for adding this. It seems that quite a few state heads would rather kill their constituents than look weak in the eye of the MAGA freeDUMB crowds. Public health should not be under the thumb of idiot politicians.
FYI, the stuff at the end of some URLs is tracker info. In your URL above it looks like the sorter info from Google, so can be harmless, but always they are profiling you... Sometimes it is difficult to remove, as it can beal the URL connection but I found that usually you can remove a question mark and everything after... or as I did in this one,,, using the #. I add a space line break and then test the remaining URL. It worked.

The Tallahassee Democrat published a nice update and a profile of how incompletely trained Dr. Joseph Ladapo appeared out of nowhere to become DeSatan's state public health director. Ladapo has never done a residency in clinical medicine, let alone an infectious disease fellowship! In my home state, the head of the DPH has done both. In my world of clinical medicine, he would only be allowed to do research, not direct any type of clinical care program.
