He has 3 soft beds to choose from but prefers the shelf in the storage room
I once had a cat that always slept by my side on my bed. One time I left an empty shoebox on the bed, and my cat went to sleep inside the shoebox. (She was small enough to fit in it comfortably; she was sometimes mistaken for a kitten because of her small size.)
As a result of my cat sleeping in the shoebox, I discovered that she likes to sleep inside boxes. So I soon got a slightly larger and sturdier box for her, and put a soft blanket on the bottom. Later, I decorated the box and subsequent boxes with the cutie's name. I always kept these homemade cat beds right next to where my head went. My cat slept in her box, right by my side every night for years and years after that.
When I woke up in the morning, my cat was usually still in her box bed. Usually but not always. On some mornings, she was on top of my chest. She actually climbed on top of me while I was asleep without waking me up!
If the very first thing you see when you wake up in the morning is a sweet, adorable little cat who loves you, it can put you in a happy mood for the entire day. I will remember her as long as I live.
This guy weighs over 18 pounds and loves to lay on my chest while I'm sleeping.
Maybe he would sleep in one of his soft beds if it was on the shelf in the storage room 😺
One of my cats will only sleep in her igloo bed, which is on top of a chest of drawers. I’ve bought new beds but she’ll just ignore them. She’s had her igloo bed for 13 years since she was 8 weeks old. It’s about 25% hair now but it’s not at all smelly!
The blanket in the bin is covered with black hair.
We can’t set clothes on our bed, they would just be plastered in hairs
😻 D'aww! But we love them anyway. 😻
