A troll might also have a click bait headline, with not even a hint of what is actually in the body of a post, garnering unwarranted attention and clicks. A troll might also be someone pretending to be helpful, but in effect copying what are the RW talking points of the day. A troll might also offer something that seems reasonable...but if you take a few moments to think, you will (hopefully) realize the consequences would be devastating, and of no benefit.
I find it hilarious that the trolls that made me move solely to forums are being listened to and lauded. Way to go SAVvers. My favourite is Lucy that came back 3 times to say the site was dead and asked WTF people were doing here still. Then, returns months later says some sweet shit about loving the site and how much she appreciates it and all the morons who are sucked in by "her." And no one even noticed. And he is back doing the same fucking thing. Only this time to concern troll about Biden. After telling anyone who disagrees with him to eat his ass... he then said how much he loves you all! And boom, many are sucked back in. (He is on an off site email list, so his buddies and or fellow trolls come to support him)
The moron does not even know whose avatar he's using. Lucy Ferase does not get a famous phrase from 'I love lucy,' the character picture chosen for himself. https://www.sorryantivaxxer.com/post/laura-loomer-28-mar-a-lago-ish-fl-hate-speech-artist-has-covid-is-death-looming?commentId=15599bb1-7745-4a1b-84d7-0eb98ead7c13
The disinformation is going to get worse. There are hundreds of old accounts here that were made and never used. For heavens sake, learn how to spot trolls. https://www.dailykos.com/story/2024/7/18/2255465/-The-2024-Election-The-Fix-is-In-or-is-it Concern trolls are ratfuckers, like the guy who voted MAGA saying he doesn't vote and you should not either... https://www.dailykos.com/story/2024/7/6/2251912/-PSA-We-had-at-least-4-Classic-Troll-Diaries-Yesterday-and-2-Concern-Trolling-Ones-A-Guideline
