Documents at Mar-a-Lago Were Moved and Hidden as U.S. Sought Them, Filing Suggests

From what I've, those piles were from the feds very carefully putting the evidence out as they took it out of the boxes, and photographing each and every piece of it.

The sheer fact that they were even there is damning.

Those documents are supposed to be under lock and key in Washington DC, and how they got there is another story all together.

Trump can't claim the FBI planted those because they're all time stamped, especially the pieces of letterhead with the WHITE HOUSE embossed stationary.

Kind of hard to plant that kind of stuff.

IANAL but that’s obstruction with probably lots of other side stuff like tampering with evidence, and that’s on top of the per-piece penalties for mishandling and apparently disclosing classified stuff, along with espionage from statutes in the Espionage Act.

As an aside, his Cessna Citation 750 is freshly re-registered with the FAA and his Boeing 757 has been in the shop for over a year. No idea when it flies again but that should be coming up. I’m betting he’s a runner.

Most of us are unable to conjure up one way to distract, lie and cheat because we have ethics, morals, shame, guilt and other things which in no way impede a malignant narcissist.

If you can think of something bad he has done with the classified documents, it is as likely as anything others can come up with. It will never be one thing, but he will say he didn't know, was messy, wanted souvenirs, it was all his, ec. and blame others.
