So, I have ‘Brand New Key’ by Melanie playing in my head all day. Been singing it. Other day was ‘Chick-a-boom, chick-a-boom! Don’t you just love it?” Recent, ‘Spill the wine!’. Worst ever is ‘Clap for the Wolfman”. Does music play in your head from the minute you wake up? What did you hear this morning?

Hurricane Smith. ‘Oh babe, what would you say?’. I really love this one.
Put the lime in the coconut and mix em all up.
Damn you…
🎶“I’ve got a brand new pair of roller skates. You’ve got a brand new key…”🎵
Some Asian indie music:
I called up my doctor
to see what’s the matter
he said come on over
i said do I have to
c’mon you know this one!
Today’s selection…The Rapper by The Jaggerz.
I recognize all those songs too! I have a Covid playlist I listen to every morning. The first song is 3 Little Birds by Marley so that's stuck in my head. The worst are the songs from my generation the drug companies have bastardize to sell drugs to old people!
I woke up the other morning and started the coffee maker. I kept repeating..."The funk of 40,000 years", "The funk of 40,000 years" over and over like a loony.
My son came in and fake strangled me to shut me up. I was fine after the coffee.

I’m going to have to try that. Most of the songs I get are good songs IMO. Today was Roxy Music. 12 hours is a long time.
There was a semi-scientific study about 15 years ago re: earworms and how to stop them. The best solution the study came up with was to sing aloud "America" from the musical West Side Story, yes, including the clapping. Apparently, the frequent changes in tempo kill earworms. It's my go-to earworm buster.
Daddy Dewdrop- Don't you just love it? 👍
Battle of Evermore, since someone posted it on here the other day🙄
