They didn't pre-order vaccines for their kids. From the beginning, my worst nightmare was that this virus would go after kids. There's a lot of FAFO on this site, but I just can't take it if these moronic adults do the f*cking around and their kids have to find out 😔 And, of course, that would be a "direct" finding out. Losing parents or suddenly becoming a parent's caretaker because they're no longer independent as a result of COVID has already been a horrific consequence for so many kids.

This really scares me for the future of our country. Used to be, we would build up on each generation. Life expectancy and overall quality of life improving was a given.
Even before covid, we were seeing some of those trends reverse, I shudder to think what kind of impact a bunch of infant-18 year olds with long-covid might have in the next 20-60 years.
I’m not exactly happy to have left my youth behind in the rear-view mirror, but I’m very glad none of this shit was around when I was a youngster.
