True, many of my suggestions are ridiculous, but many are not. Those should be implemented as soon as we get the fucking Republicans out of Congress. Until then, vote the fuckers out of every single elective office you can do. There's one solution to this murderous rampage and it's getting rid of the people who foster it every fucking day with their little pals in the NRA.

It's the speed that matters. Sure he could have killed as many with a low-caliber 22 varmint rifle. Shoot a knife can even kill 19 people. But it would have taken longer. We would have had loss of life but probably not as many. Just because we can't make things perfect doesn't mean we can't make things better.

Frankly, these threats to legislate firearms, which are 99% empty and vapid in effect, send those so inclined into a gun-buying frenzy. Gun sales explode usually and prices go up as fear of being able to buy one in the future is threatened. Some or most changes made through legislation are more or less cosmetic...so the gun looks less miliary. Then other companies sell kits or add-ons to make them look more military or deadly. lol..sorta. Machine gun licenses, full auto, are only affordable to the wealthy.

Other laws exempt American firearms from laws regarding peripherals like muzzle brakes, which minimize the guns kick and make target reacquisition faster (theoretically). Foreign-made guns are penalized so to speak. In the muzzle brake example, if you were to put one on a foreign gun, it could then be illegal and johnny Law could hunt and prosecute you. However, I'm not up on current laws. IMO, overall, most legislation thus far is ineffective and deceptive to pacify those trying or who want to change gun laws by giving them a "something" that doesn't amount to squat in the real world. The cosmetically legislated guns will still kill you as dead as the scarier-looking models. The 18-year-old could have killed as many with a low-caliber 22 varmint rifle.

Sometimes American firearms companies license or purchase the rights to manufacture foreign guns that would be, or have parts that are illegal via legislation. But because these nearly exact same firearms and associated do-hickeys are now owned and manufactured by American companies, they are legal.

It's a game...a BS game but that's the one being played.

So I’ve been holding my thoughts on this one because I needed a little time to process. We all know that not one single gvt official in Texass is going to do diddly squat.

All I can hope for now is that every single parent of those poor unfortunate children voted Red.

I want them to KNOW that their dumb asses have voted in the very people complicit in the murder of their children. I want them up all night, every night until their hatred of the party that is in the back pockets of the NRA is more than their hatred of “libtards”

I want to share an article with you about the first, and only, massacre at a school in the UK and how gun control laws changed after that. I live in Scotland now and I’m sure that the people of Dunblane are reminded of that awful day each and every time that they hear of yet another murderous rampage in a US school. I wish that things could change for you all 💔

Read that story. An 18-year-old kills Gramma and then goes and kills elementary school kids. I wonder, like everyone else, Why? Why kill little kids? Murders and murderers are usually senseless (like the GQP) but this is yet another thing I don't get.
