As we all know, the anti-vaxxer crowd is generally on the dim-witted, stupid crazy side.
Now it appears that since they wrapped up their whole identities with being anti-vax, they've losing their minds because the pandemic (for the most part, but I'd disagree with that) is abating.
Amanda Marcotte writes on this phenomenon.
I mean, it's one thing to be a follower of a cult and another to be brain dead morons.
And are running for office or on school boards. (Some already have and won)
The antivaxxers are really pushing to get rid of immunization mandates for school children. I'm old enough that there were several kids in my school who permanently needed braces and crutches as a result of polio. Would rather not see that happen again, but it will. May the next world pandemic be a doozy. I want to see antivaxxers dropping like flies.
Now that being an ‘anti-vaxxer’ isn’t an option for them because things have died down in a lot of peoples’ minds, what will they concentrate their hatefulness on now?
Any other answers?
Yes, the anti-vaxxers will continue whining about "mandates" and "Soros" and being forced to comply with ever-increasing forms of "government control" of their lives. What the rest of us consider mildly annoying rules becomes a mountain of indignity. It's a grievance cult, and the Orange Parsnip started it. "They want you to flush the toilet twice" and "They want to take away your gas stove" for example.
