We're close to living in an age in which not carrying a gun is an act of rebellion.
The states and cities will have the right to restrict being armed outside your home but only in "certain areas!" Gee, I wonder what "areas" this POS RWNJ Radicalized sons of the Heritage and Federalist Society SCOTUS were referring to?
The rot is oozing into Canada as well, as a shit load of illegal f'ing guns have been pouring in to arm our criminals, gangs, ignorant MAGA "freedim" morons and illegal fake militia! I am having trouble giving a shit about America anymore... to be honest...
And Joe Rogan can go f*uck himself several times over. Rogan says defund the police is why Uverde happened and Trudeau will not allow self defense by shooting ... it is Canadian LAW FFS and Uvalde spends 40 % of its budget on cops... He makes 100 million to do podcasts and is a know nothing moron who doesn't do any background research before he spouts off...
"Yeah Canada doesn't have a constitution, technically they're still part of England." We have a Constitution, you numbnuts ignoramus. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8tfBp_x0Ye8
Bernard Goetz, the NYC subway vigilante, clones will likely pop up everywhere. The Supreme court is spitting in the face of the new legislation regarding firearms.
People of color will likely be under intense scrutiny if they are "legally" carrying a firearm.
In the Minnesota case of a Black man, Philando Castile, who was licensed to carry, was shot 7 times by Officer Jeronimo Yanez while his girlfriend live-streamed the killing on FB.
Officer Yanez was cleared by the courts less than a year later. Yanez received a 48,500 separation settlement from St. Anthony Village to leave the force. Castile family victims' family received a 3.8 million dollar settlement from the Minnesota Village. Officer Yanez received several job offers after his acquittal. The last report I found had him employed by the Ft. Worth texas law enforcement.
BTW Yanez is a personal acquaintance of my son.
The NY courts will be flooded with "firearms" cases and lawyers will be busy making big bucks on these cases from those who can afford effective defense teams.
"New York's proper-cause requirement violates the Fourteenth Amendment in that it prevents law-abiding citizens with ordinary self-defense needs from exercising their right ..."
Only in America would gun-toting be considered just an everyday need to fend off other gun toters.
