Profile Security

If you signed up for SAV using Google you may be giving your information to the public and the trolls who scan SAV.

To protect yourself click on your profile icon on the top right of the page then go to "My Account."

Under "Display Info" pick a unique username. Then, scroll down to "Account Settings."

Click "Edit URL" and change that to your profile name.

If you don't do this, it could display your email address which trolls can use to contact you (if you signed up via Google).

I never, EVER sign up for anything using Google. They spy on us whenever they can. 24/7. PERIOD. And I don't believe in conspiracy theories. This is just what Google does.

If you click on my name and "open link in a new window," you will see that my URL says trumpisapissbaby. That is not my email. When you check yours, if it has your email name without the @ in it, then follow the instructions and change it. DocTock would be fine...

PS to anyone reading: I am not a mod, nor am I Vaxxlady. Whatever way you signed up is also now your log in email. If you signed in with Gmail, your URL follows you here and includes your Email name in it. That is a Google problem they refused to deal with since IGoogle and G+.

Making a throw away account WITHOUT your REAL NAMEin it for the purpose of signing into sites like this is also always a good idea in future.
