The article delves into the underlying causes of Long COVID.. What we know, what we do not know and what we need to know. This is the best overview I have read thus far... especially as it looks at the patient's symptoms, not just the continuation of normal COVID symptoms.

COVID vaccinations very likely reduce the getting long COVID as well as the severity/ duration should you experience lasting symptoms.. More in-depth studies are needed for solid proof.

My in-law's 3rd bout of covid started when she went on a cruise in October. She and her husband got sick mid-vacation. How fun! About 6 weeks later she began having sporadic chest pain. She's very secretive so I don't know if it is related, but she's never had it before.
