UPDATE: Jan 6 Whitewashing & Insurrectionists Run for Office

I was going to search my files and do this last week but I was busy and frankly wasn't doing well. I am so glad I waited because NBC did the work for me. Few people are viewing these posts, and that makes me sad and disheartened with the American election looming on the horizon. It means people have become tired and want to move on and that is the last thing you should be doing.

It was an attack on government. An insurrection, even though no one wants to say that word, as though saying it makes it all too real. But it was real. It happened and it will happen again because of complacency and allowing the RW to change their stripes and pretend it was just a show of political differences after all... and not organized to fit the definition, but it was. Michele Morrow, North Carolina

Michele Morrow won the Republican primary for North Carolina Superintendent of Public Education and will face democrat Mo Green in November. She home schooled her kids (and seriously calls herself a "private educator," FFS)... is an antimasker, antivaxxer "christian" nationalist and has no experience but is getting lots of MAGA support. Jason Riddle, New Hampshire

Military veteran, Former army reservist, mail carrier at the USPS. Previously worked as a corrections officer at a county jail and wants to run for office on his notoriety…  but doesn’t know  the difference between state and Federal office,  He us a is gay and married MAGA moron and likely also QAnon.   He said he believes the election was stolen because tRUMP was winning then “magically” lost his lead once absentee ballots were counted.  He is an AIRHEAD!  He also previously ran for county Commissioner. He also says he doesn’t regret  being in the insurrection. *I wanna do it so, why not do it..."

Anthony Kern, Arizona

Arizona state Senator since 2017; running for Congress in Arizona in 2024. He's a fake elector... who says Democrats are trying to imprison him, but he’s honored for the role he played. He did not enter the Capitol on Jan 6, but was proud he was there for "D-day." Jacob Chansley, Arizona

The QAnon Shaman (Horned fellow at the top of the post in case you live under a rock) is also running for Congress in Arizona for the same seat as Kern, but as a Libertarian. His lawyer called him autistic and not very bright in very unsavory terms… EG:  Short bus people… UGH! He did not finish his 42 month sentence because everyone felt sorry for him...  I didn't highlight him here as the whole world had him highlighted as the face of the insurrection...

He could not collect enough signatures (did he even try?) and pulled out of the race he didn't work to be in just a few days ago, with this promise that sounds more like a threat.

Derrick Evans, West Virginia

Evans, who had been sworn into state office just weeks before the Jan. 6 attack, is not winning for Congress. His platform is revenge and hate... Katrina Pierson, Texas

Pierson, AKA Katrina Lanette Shaddix when she previously ran as a Tea Party candidate in 2014, is in a runoff for Texas state House office. Katrina was hired to be tRUMP's spokesperson because of her 2 shoplifting arrests. Rap sheets make for loyalty when you need someone to lie for you. (He had a whole host of them, including Gaetz...) Pierson was then a Trump campaign official assigned by the White House to take charge of the rally planning, helped arrange a deal where those organizers deemed too extreme to speak at the Ellipse could do so on the night of Jan. 5. Several candidates involved in Jan. 6 have already lost their bids for office: Ryan Zink, Texas; Phillip Sean Grillo, NY; Bianca Gracia,Texas.

Why would they not feel vindicated and emboldened when criminal tRUMP has always skated from the law was president and is now running again for president, even as he has been indicted for 88 crimes. Here he is calling for Jan 6 committee members who initiated outlaying his crimes... need to be jailed. And it also outlines his actual weaponization of his office and his feeling that government departments worked for HIM, not America and how he wanted to do that LAST time... and is promising to do for real with loyalists if voted in again. He learned that lesson...
