I get the impression that a lot of Americans are simpletons who think that they're patriots, but the only aspect of the USA they care about (or understand) is the flag.

And then they put it all over their tshirts and piss stained underwear. And they fly it on their yeehaw smoke belching monster trucks next to their MAGAt abomination flags. And then they whine about others disrespecting it when their actions show far less respect than they give themselves credit for.
