EDIT: I removed the part about there possibly being a potitical or domestic terrorist motive. It appears to be about young people being able to access guns in America and thus being able to escalate a disagreement to shooting 22 innocent people; half of them children I beg to differ with so many opinions I have seen written saying this is who Kansas City is. NO! As a Canadian who will never step foot in the USA again (And am not alone) that is sadly how the world views the USA now. A place where a parade, a shopping mall, a theatre, a bar, and even churches are unsafe. And schools! That children can't find safety in their place of learning hurts my heart. Who in the US does NOT know someone who was gunned down or took ther own life so senselessly?
Like it or not... this is what AMERICA is ...
1 dead, 21 injured, officials say
(The number of injured went down from 22 to 21)
The parade celebrating the Kansas City Chiefs’ dynasty-cementing Super Bowl win ended in gunfire and tragedy, with officials reporting that multiple people were struck near the site of the rally that followed the parade, and that one person died. Police said they took three people into custody, and local television live streams showed parade-goers running from the rally site and police entering buildings.
FFS! 11 of the 22 known are CHILDREN!!!!
