That sounds pretty cold and boring but when you find the right person to tell the story... it is anything but... and that person is NOT me. I add commentary but leave the hefty nuance to the experts. I have debilitating brain fog so please, if I missed something...add it in a comment. I would like this to be a fairly comprehensive depository (repository? Is online storage a deposit?) of information, albeit not as professionally done as some might like.
Before you begin, know that tRUMP was filing late, had a lawyer, M. Evan Corcoran, file for him but it is a jumbled mess and... he is filing Pro Se... which literally means he is REPRESENTING HIMSELF! His struggle to find lawyers is also very real. I cracked up a couple of times , so if you love a sense of humour yet, still want the facts and "telling it like ot is,"then this is your girl: https://twitter.com/Teri_Kanefield/status/1561851813422252033
I have not read Emptywheel's analysis, but she is usually good for the cold hard facts, even though she sucks at nuance. And like me can get bogged down and be too literal , but man, she notices things no one else can , especially in huge document filings. Think of it as a more forensic analysis when no one else seems to know what is going on. https://twitter.com/emptywheel/status/1561817258309156864

My take away in non legalese is TRUMP's BEING An ASSHOLE Again; hmmm... that might have been a better title. Here is the timeline to refresh your meme-ories. (I forgot, "Sure we got a subpoena, but we basically ignored it")
CNN Clown Hall Questions:
COLLINS: Did you ever show those classified documents to anyone? tRUMP: “Not really. I would have the right to.”
COLLINS: What do you mean? tRUMP: “Not that I can think of… I have the absolute right to do whatever I want with them.”

Addendum:
Model Prosecution Memo for Trump Classified Documents
Just Security has some very savvy lawyer assess potential charges that federal prosecutors may bring against tRUMP. (If what has been known, leaked and written about is in fact true...and damn I hope it is) It is long...
Our memo analyzes six federal crimes in depth:
Mishandling of Government Documents 1. Retention of National Defense Information (18 U.S.C. § 793(e)) 2. Concealing Government Records (18 U.S.C. § 2071) 3. Conversion of Government Property (18 U.S.C. § 641)
Obstruction, Contempt, False Information
1. Obstruction of Justice (18 U.S.C. § 1519) 2. Criminal Contempt (18 U.S.C. § 402) 3. False Statements to Federal Investigators (18 U.S.C. § 1001)

July 2021: as tRUMP prepared for the Saudi LIV golf tournament held 3 months later, Trump met with ghost writers for Mark Meadows’ book, 'per sources.' Trump said it was too hot in Florida in July so met in Bedminster. Trump aide Margo Martin had her laptop and recording devices because tRUMP didn't trust anyone to be truthful in quoting him. (Oh the irony)
In March, when she testified about the tapes, the info was duplicated. On it was tRUMP admitting he retained a 4 page document whereby he says General Milley was itching for a war with Iran*. He also admits he regretted not declassifying it... *UGH, being the General did the opposite: https://www.newyorker.com/news/letter-from-bidens-washington/youre-gonna-have-a-fucking-war-mark-milleys-fight-to-stop-trump-from-striking-iran
ADDENDUM: Cath has pointed out I was missing some context for the questions paragraph, as it had been inadvertently erased.
Kellyanne Conway was a typical "leaker" from the whitehouse. Whenever I hear "sources" I think of her. In the time of Clinton, then Bush, think Brett Kavanaugh and manipultive GQP operatives are indeed sources... but of misinformation. https://www.npr.org/2022/08/09/1116281152/how-the-republican-party-came-to-embrace-conspiracy-theories-and-denialism
What I had originally proposed is that the 4 page document may have been ordered by tRUMP himself or it may have been a war game scenario that caught tRUMP's eye in the daily briefing and that he felt might give him cover if he ordered a strike/war in Iran. It may also have been simply to discredit Milley as a warmonger. We do not actually know anything about this, or that the copy or rapes actually exist, so in fact the entire scenario may have been a lie simply to discredit Milley. tRUMP is a vindictive SOB.
Thank you Cath.
The liar in chief says so much crap... on purpose, because denial, distraction and delay are always on his mind. Is this more of the same or does he really have it? Is this "leak" from GQP or Dem sources? Is it a tRUMP tactic to get his lies about Milley out there? Are tapes of this recording actually in the DOJ's hands? The Jack Smith investigation is supposedly wrapping up and this piece of evidence should have wrapped it up sooner if they got the copies in March...
I am trying hard to boycott CNN so will add the Guardian story. https://t.co/zZGpu96jSG
Timothy Parlatore, top member of tRUMP's legal team, quit recently and said that Boris Epshteyn,“In my opinion, he was not very honest with us or with the client on certain things,” and that "There were certain things like the searches that he had attempted to interfere with.” https://www.washingtonpost.com/politics/2023/05/21/trump-lawyers/
