According to this obituary, Ben died on November 18, 2021. Ben was a 3rd generation Baptist minister in North Carolina. Ben leaves behind his wife Aluna. originally from Kasakistan, and his five children. Ben was an antivaxxer. (Sorry for the sparse posts this week but my day job has been rather demanding this week.)
