Hello! Sorry for being a little quiet over the last couple of weeks. Life has been hectic between work + kids. It's also harder to find new stories. That is until someone sent us this one.
Let's meet 35-year-old Garnet Harper (Lando Elijah on FB). Garnet owns a mobile auto detailing company, is married to Meghan Harper, and has five young kids. Meghan is a homeschool teacher, and I'd classify them as "crunchy" parents.
This may be our longest story ever, spanning over the last three years. It took me a few days to pull this one all together. Jump to comments here.
Garnet started off 2020 by welcoming his fifth child.
Two months later, the pandemic hit. He started screaming about 5G and other conspiracy theories, and it didn't take long for the freeDUMB screams to begin.
This video set off a firestorm of misinformation. If you remember, it took Youtube about a week before they pulled it. The damage was already done. His friend Julie tried telling him.
He was consumed by his conspiracies.
This one is interesting.
He just goes on and on.
His business shuts down for the winter, which means he's gonna have way too much time on his hands.
Let's move into 2021. This is where he starts rambling on about the COVID vaccine.
It looks like someone was trying to talk sense into him.
Just more nonstop ramblings.

He either started or just joined the Sunbury Freedom Convoy. I spent so much time researching Garnet that I didn't go deep into who started this group.
2/3/22 - FreeDUMB rally.
On March 6, 2022, he introduced his friends to "All for Independence." I'll let him share what that means.
On May 3, 2022, he shared some big news about his health on GiveSendGo. Garnet has a kidney disease and mentions that he needs a kidney transplant but can't get one because of his refusal to get vaccinated.

As we move on to November 2022, he doesn't seem to be doing well, healthwise.

That leads us to this. Sadly, on May 22, 2023, 35-year-old Garnet Turner passed away and earns his Herman Cain Award. Leaving behind his wife and five young children. All because of his freeDUMB.

It's a 3 day weekend here in America, so I have a lot more time to get a few more stories ready to go.
