It would have taken her a lot less time to get fully vaccinated than it did to write why she wouldn't vaccinate. These people were pathetic.
Guess that religious exemption didn't protect her from COVID. Ooops. COVID can't read.
I really don't get how a registered nurse can oppose vaccination for Covid in good conscience, and without deception. For a start there is the narcissistic selfishness involved, failing to see how vaccination is an act of compassion and human empathy to minimise the impact on hospitals and vulnerable people. These are core values for nursing. Next there is the basic arithmetic, seeing that vaccination prevents far more bad health incidents than it causes. This also points to relative risk assessment. Ability to understand scientific information is essential to modern nursing. As a professional, a nurse has some responsibility to model good health decisions and behavior, and not to promote kooky rubbish. This all makes me wonder how an o…
