According to this obituary, Nick died on September 5th, 2021. An Anti-vaxxer through and through, but he changed his mind on his death bed.
And then he died of COVID less than a month later, but while he was on his death bed he had a message for us: Hal is Nick's father:
FYI Hal was fully vaccinated back in April. Apparently he couldn't get through to his son in time.

The absolutely stunning thing that this post reveals is how vaccine denial and conspiracy theory is not just tearing apart America, it is tearing apart families. My daughter was putting off getting vaccinated due to her dumbass NewsMax watching boyfriend, and it kept me up at night. Finally she got the J&J vaccine. Her boyfriend says he lost his sense of taste and smell, so he doesn't need the vaccine anymore because he has antibodies.
His Father is truly grieving and funneling that grief into promoting the vaccine. Almost every post ends with “get your shot”. I wish I could give that man a hug. We can’t control our kids choices, but we love them anyways. As for Nick, I hope his wife and kids get vaccinated.
