All I did was FIND the picture, and I thought it was a good way to illustrate the concept of “fuck around and find out”. I obtained the image from a website called Pixabay, which offers copyright-free images. I appreciate the thought, but I don’t want to be credited for someone else’s work.

A friend of mine stopped quick to avoid a child who ran across the street. The man behind her couldn’t stop fast enough and rear ended her car. He got out and started to berate her for stopping too fast. He calmed down once she told him about the child. I would have given him a blast for following too close.

If you are pardoned for a crime, can you then run for office again? Is a pardon as if it never happened? Or would accepting the pardon be an admission of guilt and thus prevent you from running for office?

Happy birthday Deanna. My dog was a liar. Rocket was a black lab. She was not allowed on the sofa and had been told so very often as a pup. We thought she had got the message, when we would get home we could see her coming to the door to greet us from the left, which was the hallway from the basement. I would praise her lavishly. One day I got home and again Rocky was coming from the left of the house. Something made me check the sofa and it was warm! When she would hear the car coming in she would quickly get off the sofa and go to the other side of the door and greet us from there as if she had not been near the couch. She lived with us for 14 years and I never bothered blocking off the living room. I let her keep her little secret.

Funny thing is Dip, I was worried about this site when I first starting lurking. That’s what took me so long to sign up. I am sort of leary about all things internet.
