One thing no one is talking about are the possible PARDONS. When I'm looking at all these inbound "Indicated" folks, the media is skipping any discussion of Pardons when talking about possible defendants flipping ...getting to the "Sore Thumb" stage for me.

I watch the Ukraine stuff too too much. Nobody's mentioning it but Russians in the Kherson Oblast are not just running out of weapons/ammo, they're running low on food and water. Ukraine is taking it slow because it's a quiet siege on the Occupiers. [chuckle] Meanwhile the Ukrainians are videoing standing next to their artillery/rocket fire eating bags of chips chugging an energy drink

Aug 31 22 Here's an important story of Life moving forward in Ukraine. UXO is unexploded Ordinance [wormhole warning!}, which is simply all the exploding stuff that failed to explode as intended (when launched). In this story they share the fact that most of the go-boom stuff in the Ukraine/Russia war is ancient Soviet era warehouse junk, and as much as 50% of it fails to go off. Also Russians are using banned Cluster Munitions that purposefully drop multiple "bomblets" that flings small grenades over a wide area. While they are intended to explode at the time of release, so many lay on the ground unexploded and act like mines ...killing civilians much later if stepped on. This is actually just the small part as even rockets, tank and cannon shells can land and not explode. This UXO refuse litters the entire nation. Imagine your wheat field littered with hidden cluster munitions up to a foot under the soil ...waiting for your next tilling. This is a forever problem in all Nations post-war. While they don't talk about this in this video, there is an organization that started in 1988 to address Unexploded Ordinance post-war in many countries world-wide. Here's a link to The Halo Trust which they show here but don't promote. What the Russian people refuse to acknowledge is how the Ukrainian people will be rebuilding their country for decades while trying to diligently sweep a country the size of Texas for UXO also for many many years ...and perhaps as they gain one gram of forgiveness for Russia, there will undoubtedly be regular news stories about some kid unfortunately stumbling across some piece of UXO with a bad result. It will forever be what reminds Ukrainians why they HATE Russia for the next century. Orcs! This is a great story for the Ladies of SAV! All the men have to fight in Ukraine so it's the women doing this task ...which must be done. Slava Ukraine!

@Poida The way to defeat them is take ALL their money. We are all sick of watching the super-wealthy dodge Justice (the Murdochs etc) That Arc of Truth moves slowly but when it lands and delivers Justice it's Game Over. @Kathmandu I have always shared my suspicion of religion because it always seemed to be such a kooky little fairy-tale. Clearly it has a demonstrated purpose behind it's existence, some people need/want it, and America promises them that right. In the Ari Melber piece he managed to change my mind in a strange way. He related the value in having "an open mind" whether or not you agree. There's room for debate ..and I've always enjoyed those debates. As we look for a real REAL solution for the political state of upcoming elections, it may be important (and smart!) to allow a real space for what may be described as "Classical Christians", those who are still believers in FACT and truth and honesty and loyalty to our country. We need them on our side and agreement in spiritual beliefs is better to remain politically off-topic. Troubles started when folks started trying to make Religion political. Maybe the fix is to make a space were that binding gets undone ..it's simply become distasteful for many. It looks to be happening and smart Dems should be seizing on this for campaign season. A shift is in the wind. You guys are right. Oddly Ari Melber just nailed it on MSNBC. Weird... I mentioned over on the other side how I have noticed the Jan6 Committee is coming over very Christian-focused. The Ari Melber episode from tonight is making some important sense and offering some statistical data regarding actual Christian or more exactly Qhristian White Nationalists and GQP candidates like Ron Desantis. The "shift" is being fueled by testimony like the ultra-conservative Speaker of the Arizona House saying his Faith and belief the Constitution is of Divine origin and his Oath to same, made it so he could not break that Oath and therefore said "No" to the dRumPf Team of Seditionists/Traitors. Somehow there seems to be a Pull in the works to bring actual Christians back to a more Democratic side, away from automatically just voting Red. Here ya go ...this is *different* and relates to what we're cooking up in this thread
