My son plays college baseball. Baseball is a very conservative sport. That said, the cut throat world of national politics is nothing compared to the world of travel/club and high school baseball. We had to deal with it for years and now my son is still playing while most of the local “studs” and coach’s pets are out of the game. Best of luck!

Of course, I have an immune system. But it is not perfect. That is why I have annual physicals, skin cancer screenings, colonoscopies, get annual Flu shots, etc. And that is why I have been vaccinated and boosted and have not (to the best of my knowledge) had even a mild case of Covi-19.

I have discovered and have been enjoying a double IPA called Captain’s Daughter. Brewed in Rhode Island by Great Sail brewery. The closest IPA to Heady Topper I have ever had. Would like to do a side-by-side someday.

Mask guidance has been horrible. Fauci was all over the map. Thousands have died or gotten seriously ill thinking they were safe with dollar store ”surgical” masks and cheap cotton ones (or expensive designer ones) when there should have been an all-out push to manufacture, distribute and encourage the use of, if not mandate the use of, N-95s. Plus there should have been a Manhattan Project to develop even better masks (I own some N-100s). Is Fauci 100% to blame for that? Perhaps not. But he is not infallible and he is not worthy of deification (nor is he one of the”sexiest men in America”).

That is a very good question. I sure hope so. That is the sole reason I joined this site after lurking for many months and support it financially the best I can. I don’t expect this site to turn Rebublicans into Democrats or “born again“ Christians into atheists, but I do hope they will see that they have been seriously misled and indeed “played” by their leaders and news sources. In short, I want to see them get fully vaxxed and boosted ASAP and then they can work the rest of it out or not.
