I am hoping her LC will improve, as I am hoping my own (possible?) LC will improve. I have brain fog and fatigue as well. Anecdotally, I have heard of a woman who had such severe brain fog after Covid that she could not do her job any more, and within 8 months or so, she is back to normal. It was either the NYT podcast or the WaPo podcast that just did a nice summary of this. My understanding is, he is being sued in 4 separate Sandy Hook suits from different states. He dicked everyone around for a couple of years when they were in the discovery process, and since he gave over so little of what was asked of him (financial records, emails, etc), he was declared guilty in all cases. So all these trials are just to decide how much money he has to pay out. I don't think he is "finished" either.

I am 2x boosted. I had very mild Covid last year. Shortly after that I’ve had severe brain fog, fatigue, and trouble sleeping, and spasms. A neurologist had me tested and said I was fine. I asked her if she has patients with Long Covid and she used the term Post Viral Syndrome. Anyway, I think it’s best I try not to get Covid again. I mask in public but we have eaten out a few times.

Absolutely right! This "founding fathers" shit is ridiculous. If someone teleported here from 250 years ago, I don't care if they are the smartest mind of their time, I would not expect them to know jack about squat. The things we have today are like "magic" to people from that time. And our social mores have changed a hell of a lot too. It's akin to trying to find solutions in a 2000 year old book of fairy tales.

One time when I was a kid, we drove about 3 hours to go camping. My mother hated camping and was doing her usual complaining. We found a spot and my dad parked the trailer, unhitched it, had me help him by looking at the level bubbles on the sides of the trailer whilst he put the trailer on jacks. He built a fire. I don't know what happened, but the next thing I know, my mother and I are at the camp fire, and my father is removing the jacks, hitching the trailer back up, putting the camping chairs back in the trailer, loading up the ice chest into the bed of the truck. He's not saying a word. Finally, he stands by the door and says, "Let's go" and we drive home in silence. I guess she complained one too many times? Good times.

I went to visit an American friend who had moved to England for work. When I exited the plane, immigration asked me what my business was in England and when I said I was visiting a friend, she asked if we were "lovers" which I thought was quite rude, as it is none of her business if we were having sex. Apparently, that is a more general term for "romantically involved" in England?
