SAVers, your words and imagery help bring sanity, levity, information, and humanity to those of us who are willing and able to absorb your message. Thanks to Vaxman and Vaxlady for the unrelenting work of providing a forum, and thanks to HCAman as well, for his work. As others have said, this site is like the court jester, the story of the emperor's new clothes, and the munchkins' triumphant song after the death of the wicked witch. You mock antisocial behavior. It's gallows humor, but it's in service to human health and lives, it helps expose the cost to society of misinformation and disinformation campaigns, and it gives voice to the frustration we feel as a result of this societal insanity. I have a concern that I have not seen expressed here, but maybe I just missed it. I’m wondering whether SAVers are good at sniffing out anyone who might pose as friendly but who in fact may have bad intentions. I see SAVers having casual banter about fairly specific geographical locations, etc. Might a person or organization that's hostile to SAV try to send in (to the on-line commentary) a friendly lackey to serve as a Trojan horse? The lackey's job would be to gain your trust and confidence, make you feel relaxed and affirmed, and lightheartedly coax seemingly innocuous but ultimately useful personal info out of you. I worry about SAVers being approached privately or in a group sometime later on and being subjected to harassment designed to discourage you from contributing your voice to the SAV site. This may just be my hyperventilating imagination. It's not based on knowledge, evidence, expertise, or experience. I'm sorry to be such a cold wet blanket, but I think I'd feel worse if I had this worry and didn't express it. I won't harp on this. Be careful, stay safe, don't lose heart, and vote for democracy!
