Not all seniors have lost their minds-like me and my neighbor-many up here in Maine are not trumpers, those people live mostly up north. Towards the coast they're more liberal. As I've noted elsewhere, my sister does not joke well-and that it wasn't a joke in the context I was reading. I consider the "Brandon and his son" to be a dead giveaway for one, because only a Fox News addict would even know the phrase to quote it. My sister isn't stupid, but very narrow minded. I should have realized that the husband was right-because before he died (2019) he told me he thought she'd be a Trumper when I asked him. Turns out he was absolutely right and I shouldn't have expected otherwise.

yes, it is. Her husband (who I have never met, don't know much about him, either) 'retired' and bought it for her. Good thing because she'd be homeless without him. She's never held a good job that paid over minimum wage in 40 years. I still wonder what will happen to her if he dies first. I hope he has money in a trust for her because I doubt she'd be able to support herself or a condo in Boca Raton for more than a minute.

My sister doesn't joke. I know her that well. She's 61 years old..and has a very skewed sense of humor..it wouldn't show up in text. She meant it in the context that we were talking in.

But of course you can't..but it sure would be fun to see a pharmacist turn around and actually deck the SOB's who think they're so fucking funny. Then put him in your coat, lead him into the pharmacy and say, "There you go! Think you can do my job? Go right for it. I'm done!"

When Donald Trump told everyone that it was ok to be an asshole. He is one, why not everyone? Because there are so many goddamned entitled whiny people who think the fucking world revolves around them. On FB there is a poster named "The Cynical Pharmacist" who posts actual interactions with the general public/nurses/doctors in his practice every day. I (and Tots) can attest to the validity of every single post. In my view, the day they made pharmacies available as drive thru was the day everything started to go to hell. The general public is used to McDonald's, and so they think their RX's should be fast food. What I said in my reply to one post was this: "What if you just grab some pills, throw them in a bottle without checking or labeling them, and give them to the customer? Bet they'd run as fast as they could to the exit and never return." Because that's what they demand, that's what they should get. My husband once proposed getting a big bowl, and filling it with pills of all kinds, sizes and colors-then put it out in the waiting room for everyone to pick out. I bet that would cut down on the numbers of whiny entitled assholes real quick. I even told my boss at the time about it..he thought it would be great but he'd probably get busted for killing people..so it wasn't done. But he agreed with it enthusiastically... Tots works for a large chain, and she/he has no say in the corporate mandates. If she/he did, they'd have walked the hell out a long time ago. They know all about the billing stuff, the vaccine stuff, everything. It's exhausting to have to keep up with everything happening and still be available to customers who bitch, and whine while getting their medications. It is a thankless and awful job which is exhausting many pharmacists in the field. I have no idea how they do it, but we should all be very thankful they do. I know personally of one who walked out because he just couldn't take the stress any more.

You were perfectly within your rights because I would have done it, myself! Anyone who wants to berate or insult staff should be cut off at the pass and thrown the hell out of the pharmacy. There is no need of that.

Walgreens has instituted a maximum limit in some stores of how many shots that can be dispensed during the day-there's just no way any pharmacy can do more than maybe 12 or 15 per day, because they're doing other stuff, too-like dispensing drugs!

I know you and every single pharmacist in existence right now are. There's no let up in the stupid, ignorant and stubborn people who proliferate so widely in our society. Take a vacation if you can. PTO is a good way to do this. Too bad you have to come back to work, though. I got my booster to avoid the rush. After I'm outta there, ain't nothing gonna drag me back into any store without damn good reason. It's just too damn scary. Because people just don't understand that almost every pharmacist and his staff are exhausted and want nothing more than peace and quiet from fools. Hugs to you and your staff. Hope it gets better.

Oh, yes-after doing that for my husband (who did not, but which was pretty fucking traumatic for me-I don't ever want that again) I drew up my will and specified that I have a DNR should the necessity arise. I don't ever want anyone to have that horrible duty.

And both of his parents died of Alzheimer's. I've read that he's suffering from it, but his handlers put him together long enough to act 'normal' which isn't anywhere near that..

From what I've, those piles were from the feds very carefully putting the evidence out as they took it out of the boxes, and photographing each and every piece of it. The sheer fact that they were even there is damning. Those documents are supposed to be under lock and key in Washington DC, and how they got there is another story all together. Trump can't claim the FBI planted those because they're all time stamped, especially the pieces of letterhead with the WHITE HOUSE embossed stationary. Kind of hard to plant that kind of stuff. Trump's definitely in the shit now.
