I'm not Australian, I'm North Carolinian. And around here, it's a fact that if there's ever been a qunt, it's Qonald Qunt(DoubleQ). All his worshippers, Quntlets. Not sure Qunts, or Quntlets would be a fair description for SAV'ers who can't, er, keep qunt out of their mouths and off their keyboards, but, maybe. The key characteristic of a Quntlet is the inability to think rationally, rather follow the ravings of the Qonald. Maybe, the SAV'ers, when using the term Qunt, are thinking about Qonald. Or, maybe it's like a secret handshake, in "I'll say "Qunt" and the other Quntlets will tip their hand so I'll recognize them. Also, I'm going to go underground, selling plastic Qonald Qunt(DoubleQ to the initiated) pinkie rings, because plastic DoubleQ pinkie rings is the closest equivalent to the logic of Qunt I can think of that cost less than 10 cents to mass produce. I hope I've clarified everything for everybody, or at least one thing for one body.

She's going into surgery shortly, so Either life will go back to normal shortly, or get even more hectic. Her dogs seem to be acclimating rapidly, which was my biggest concern. Vaccinate or ICU later, I think the family history, combined with my age WILL keep me from being a possible donor, which is both good(for me) and bad(for potential recipient). Sometime later I will get a call, and I suppose when her doctor makes his rounds, he'll either tell her it's all good, or deliver bad news. Ya know, for years I've wanted the companionship(and such) of a companion/mate but I think that I've reached a point where my acceptance of living alone and doing EVERYTHING alone, plus having 99% of my conversation with a dog has finally overcome any desires I have tor a mate. It's not up to me to whine about fate, I was there, I'm now here, and that's about that.

The 2 weeks since I wrote the original post have been pretty hectic, but here I am. All set up to dog-sit 2 full grown standard poodles, which will be great fun for my 2 dogs..a poodle/chihuahua(known as the chupacabra) who is the joy of my life, and our dumbledog, Raphael. Sometimes knows as Ruffle. I have a strange feeling I'm going to be called upon, at 71 years old, to donate a kidney. I've done quite a bit of work at her home, and repaired and registered/tagged/inspected/and insured my spare car for her to have a more comfortable transportation. I don't do all this shit out of the goodness of my heart, or anything altruistic like that. I'm not really a good guy, or anything like that, either. I'm just someone who has accepted my place in the universe. Incidents swirl around me, and I am partially consumed, or not. I do have control over my life, and at the same time realize this is a moment in time and space where I can be a good guy. Maybe it is altruistic to a point. I certainly don't feel like I owe anybody anything. Then, again, maybe I'm just some kind of freaking nut.

I posted this in yahoo comments to a news story("Some Trump Allies Reportedly Are Trying To 'Go Dark' Amid Search Warrant Revelations"...a repost from HuffPo) a few minutes ago, and am so pleased with it, I'll put it here. While it might not get as many views as on yahoo, the average quality of the viewer here is way above the AQoaV at yahoo. trump extremists have 7 years of their life invested in trump reality. Few of any of those people have the integrity or ability to admit to themselves they were conned all along. Maybe somebody will come up with a program like Alcoholics Anonymous to help them bridge the gap between being taken in by a con and the day they die. Possibly even a special kind of disability check, an extension of what, in the south, has long been called a "crazy check" like, a "trump crazy check" Yes, it will cost the nation billions more in various programs to rid the USA of the ugly stain this has left, but what other options are there?

Never really been a social sort, but I used to go to the grocery store at least once every 2 weeks. When they came out with "curbside pickup" I was pretty happy, but had already acclimated to having someone else who was already going to the store(actually worked in grocery stores!!) do my shopping. I've gone to parts place a couple times, and hardware store. ANYTIME I go inside anywhere, I wear an N-95 mask. Neighbor has been sick and I've gone get parts to repair a car for her, other than that, maybe go out once every 2 weeks. Which, all in all, is pretty much back to normal for me. I DO live on a farm, so even though I'm no longer running a market garden any more, I have plenty of food, and when I get groceries, I stock up(6 cand of coffee, 10 bags of sugar, 5 bags of flour, etc. It's mostly dairy I have to get regularly.

@WTF Vax Up I agree that nobody needs automatic weapons, but (probably) for a different reason. However, there is no doubt that with the hate being generated, another disappointment of any kind to the trumpkins is going to end up with RWNJ's killing those they perceive as different. Once it starts, it will be egged on by trump and his loyalists and it may reach you or me.

There is absolutely no doubt that at some point, rational citizens are going to have to use some form of violence to protect themselves from the deranged right-wing nutcakes that apparently are just dying to kill democrats. To me, that would be more guns...in the hands of the right people.

I feel the same about eating mashed turnips. Except, I don't put on my armor and venture into the world, spewing my personal opinion and acting like it means something. Opinions are a lot like assholes, everybody has one, very few want to hear somebody else's.
