I have to say I'm highly disappointed. For a fleeting microsecond after reading the email announcing the new SAV post and seeing the words "Sen Ron Johnson, Esq." (even if it did have the "lookatme"), I thought somehow he (the REAL Ron Johnson) had "earned his wings" and my heart began to palpitate! You tease you! Have to say I agree with your approach. I figure if people don't speak out against the stupidity in front of others, it normalized the thoughts, beliefs, and behaviors (AND VOTING PATTERNS) of these fools. I definitely find myself picking and choosing my battles, though. Historically I'd have been more "we all have our own ideas about what is better for ourselves, societs, and our nation", but the GQP has gone so far off the rails that people need their phreakin' eyes opened somehow. @Life is Good. Thanks for sharing…my initial reaction was to hope C-19 ravages more of these feeble minded grifter. But, as you point out, their misguided choices can have profound impacts on those around them (children) that don’t necessarily have the ability to stand up for themselves.

Pretty straightforward name choice for me...being absolutely sick and tired of the "astounding levels of stupidity", and seeing that most of the idiots were either anti-mask, anti-vaccine, anti-Fauci, anti-"protacol" (sic)...I decided I needed to be "Anti" something myself. Anti-phucktard expresses my loathing for the stupid and contemptible. And not to pick on stupid people per se, but those who know better yet actively choose to make stupid decisions that harm both themselves and others. My avatar uses the icon from TWIV (This Week In Virology) that is one of the greatest sources of accurate and up to date science on all things SARS-CoV-2--vaccines, therapeutics, long COVID, etc...The Saturday "COVID Clinical Update" podcasts each weekend with Daniel Griffin are unbelievably informative and I look forward to each week's news. Can't recommend highly enough to this crowd. Note: some of the TWIV 'shows' midweek run super long & get waaaay down into the weeds of virology and immunology and would appeal to only those so inclined. Have enjoyed reading commentary here on SAV since January that is 180° opposite the drivel in Fox News Comments sections (i.e. educated, thoughtful, often humorous, and written in English rather than Facebookese--complete with proper spelling, grammar, and punctuation). Thoroughly enjoy the disdain everyone in this community shares for the numbskulls that, unfortunately, seem to be nearly everywhere around us.
