I call my cat “Fuzzbutt” too sometimes.

I chose Wol because I really do like owls, and this was the name of an owl in a book I read and loved in 4th grade or thereabouts, Owls in the Family. I wanted a name that kind of reflected part of who I am without revealing too much of my identity due to the AV nut jobs out there.

My furbaby, whom we adopted earlier this month. Our last kitty had died in November 2019, and I wasn’t sure I would adopt another cat again. Our poor kitty’s death hit us really hard, then there was the pandemic and our wonky financial situation. But recently the time seemed right to look for another cat, and we met this pretty girl. She’s an absolute sweetheart. So glad we found her.
