Your theory seems to hold water. One of my kids got Covid but only had what felt like the flu for several days. A friend had a sinus infection, then got Covid, and they felt like crap for two weeks, but no where near needing a trip to the ER. Everyone in my Covid Bubble has gotten their shots and all the boosters. I haven't gotten Covid yet. Already have diabetes and asthma, so I am hoping that when/if I get Covid, it's not during hayfever season or I am in for a crappy couple of weeks.

The antivaxxers are really pushing to get rid of immunization mandates for school children. I'm old enough that there were several kids in my school who permanently needed braces and crutches as a result of polio. Would rather not see that happen again, but it will. I'm sorry to hear that. My dentist's office won't even let you in the door without a mask, and you can't remove your mask until someone is ready to stick sharp, pointy things in your mouth. They all dress wear masks & face shields, too.

2 vaccine shots, 3 boosters. Vaccine shots made my arm sore, just like a tetanus shot, and I slept all day the next day. All three boosters resulted in almost no side effects, except a sore arm for #1 & #2. #3 didn't even cause that. Everyone in the immediate family is fully vaxxed, boosted, and just fine getting a new booster whenever the next round is available. It's the cost of living on Earth right now, I guess.

My local pharmacy staff has been doing an amazing job providing vaccinations and boosters with online appointment scheduling. My husband and I are fully vaxxed and boosted thanks to them, as are our children. We appreciate the hard work you all are doing!

There should be PSAs televised that show the effects of childhood diseases on all major TV networks and in newspapers. People in our country are so far removed from the real consequences of these diseases (thanks to childhood vaccinations), they don't believe things like measles are 'that bad'.
