Does anyone else ever lurk on this site? I like to get an antivaxx pulse on things sometimes, and it's a WILD ride on that site! This is a direct quote from a recent post, "Just to frame her overall condition prior to getting the virus, she was 59 years old, overweight and had type 2 diabetes, so she felt like she had a Covid-target on her back already. In the past she has had some respiratory issues like sinus infections that turned into bronchitis, occasionally developing into pneumonia. This had been going on for years. Neither of us have had any Covid vaccinations - never felt like it was safe at all." His wife eventually passed because.... of course she did!!!!! He wrote down the EXACT reason this happened (quote above) and still the husband is furious with the hospital, protocols, etc. There will be no herd immunity from people finally understanding that these vaccines save lives. The antivaxx community will get us there by dying or getting it enough times to develop some sustainable immunity. It's just unreal to me that people are dying HORRIBLE deaths all around them, but because Tucker Carlson scrunches his face when he says the word "vaccine", that somehow carries more weight 🙄 Thanks for reading my rant!

Has anyone else been following this? Louisiana is just waiting for Roe v Wade to be overturned so it can gut abortion rights. Apparently, not only will an underage rape victim in LA not be allowed a choice, she'll pay her rapist child support..... https://www.wbrz.com/news/secret-documents-ordered-unsealed-in-rape-case-that-saw-victim-pay-child-support-to-her-abuser/

I find myself feeling despondency with respect to the democratic response to.... frankly everything these days. I have not always voted democratic, I'll be honest. But, the last few cycles I felt that it was more a statement on my morality and I found myself reevaluating what my priorities really are. And since, I have engaged at every level of government to vote blue. And they can't get anything done at all..... it's certainly not pushing me to vote Republican, and it's not going to convince me not to vote at all... but where can I make a difference? Democratic primaries? How is everyone else here feeling?
