Pence: It could have been even worse.

Yes, Pence was a major enabler of Psycho Donnie's insanity right from the beginning of their term. But it's come to my attention that it could have been worse: There were 2 other VP candidates vying for vice-enabler: Newt and Christie. Donnie's family and Fox Noise liked Newt best, and Christie slobbered all over Donnie for the job.

Christie's real bad but can you even imagine how horrific a Newt vice-presidency would have been? I didn't know at the time that he was even an option. Read the whole sordid story about how this went down:

Newt may have even out shamed Cheney, although the wealth may have been better hidden... Cheny had way too much authority and greed and Halliburton was front and centre in spending yet unchecked as it is still being funded to "restore" Iraq.

Yes, Newt may have even out-shamed Cheney ... if any of these clowns had a sense of shame or any decency. I protested against that Bush–Cheney regime from the time the Extreme Court ordered Florida to stop counting ballots in 2000 until the end of both terms, over democracy, the illegal war in Iraq, the torture, and especially over the extreme fearmongering.

Newt would undoubtedly be even worse.

Rudy as VP would have been horrific. Some people honor him as "America's Mayor." I've always thought he was a schmuck, ramping up the '9/11' chant in order to fearmonger for the GQP's political gain.
