There isn't a lot of information on Alberto Guerrero but according to his daughter's social media posts, he passed away on February 6th, 2022 after a battle with kidney disease and COVID. We can only guess how he got Covid. Edit to add, one of our SAV members found links to Alberto and Veronica's Scientologist service completions. Links provided. We DO know that his only daughter, Veronica Rodriguez, is quite outspoken on masks and vaccines. Alberto's last days seem really sad. According to the story from GoFundMe, Alberto went for dialysis and complained of a sore throat, so the dialysis center gave him a Covid test and did not do dialysis. Two days later, his test came back positive for Covid. He still hadn't received dialysis so he went to the ER, was admitted, and they discovered pneumonia and fluid buildup from lack of dialysis. He was there for 7 days until he was discharged ”with family pressure to get him out as he was not doing well there at all with lack of proper food & sleep and not allowed to see any of us since he was in the Covid area." Sadly, after returning home he passed away. So, let's meet Alberto's daughter. She is a self-professed "Freedom Fighter hairstylist. And most importantly: a Mommy." She's an activist with ties to the Conscious Coalition (click on the link to see a photo of her at CA Assemblyman Ed Chau's office), a Scientology-backed organization that has two priorities: "opposing childhood vaccination and promoting religious freedom." She's everything you would expect to see on SAV but I'll let her speak for herself through her many Facebook posts. Here we can see a lot of the typical habits of those featured on SAV: she's happy to be in Florida where masks aren't a thing and she's surrounded by "like minded people." She does the trifecta: expressing her displeasure for wearing masks, throws in the Bill Gates conspiracy, and mentions Robert F. Kennedy Jr. all in one photo! Of course there is a FB frame about "Freedom over Fear." She encourages people to leave negative reviews for a business trying to protect their customers from Covid. She and her family dine at a restaurant that is defying the CA mask mandate. Finally, she calls out the CDC about masks and wildfires. More love for Robert F Kennedy Jr. and anti-vaccine mandates. It's about her "freedom," of course. Anti-vaccine mandate: It's hard to get onto SAV without some anti-Fauci posts! I don't think Jim Halpert said this but I DO remember that Trump told people to get the vaccine (eventually). This is just fearmongering and incorrect information. I'd rather have a slightly higher risk of anaphylaxis or allergic reaction over being put on a ventilator or dying. No, I would NOT trust Veronica. Here we go with the VAERS misinformation. Of course she posted that. #VaccineInjuredLivesMatter? I didn't know that was a thing. Nor did I know that October is Vaccine Injury Awareness Month. It's also: Bat Appreciation Month, National Economic Education Month, Celebrating the Bilingual Child Month, Down Syndrome Awareness Month, Eat Better Eat Together Month, National Applejack Month, National Kitchen & Bath Month...you get it. Still, I've never heard of Vaccine Injury Awareness Month. She's a poet as well! Sadly, her Father can't get dialysis because he's Covid positive. It's not looking good for her Father. Cue the call for prayers. A few days later he passed away. There was a GoFundMe. It actually started before he passed away but it's still open for donations. The crying selfie...I've certainly cried over losing someone but I've never thought, "Hey, let me take a selfie right now so I can show everyone on social media how sad I am." I don't doubt her grief or sorrow but I think it's strange picture to post. She says her Father has been in and out of hospitals for the last 5 years of his life, so obviously he wasn't the picture of health. He had stage 4 kidney disease and was on dialysis 3 times a week. BTW, I looked it up and the CDC recommends the Covid 19 vaccine for dialysis patients. With his fragile state of health, it's mind boggling that anyone around him would be against masks and/or vaccines. Isn't a family member's health worth it or are personal freedoms more important? I'll give her credit, she did wear a mask and face shield in the hospital, but I doubt she would have been allowed to see her father without it. Not only did she lose her father but she lost a friend last summer, too. Despite losing her father and a friend to Covid, there's still no mention of the importance of getting a Covid-19 vaccination from Veronica. Maybe if her father had been vaccinated he wouldn't have contracted Covid or at the very least, would have had a mild, survivable case. Maybe if the people surrounding him and helping to care for him were vaccinated and wearing masks he wouldn't have contracted Covid-19. His death is another sad tale of Covid taking a life and leaving a grieving family behind. Truthfully, we don't know how Alberto caught Covid, but if he hadn't there's a good chance he would have gotten his dialysis as scheduled and wouldn't have contracted pneumonia. Point is, if you are against vaccines and masks and choose to be around someone with compromised health, your actions can have deadly consequences. We hope that Veronica's family won't be touched again by the dark hands of Covid, but there are free shots and precautions that can help protect everyone from another Covid tragedy. RIP Alberto. One last note: DO NOT post pictures of kids here. Her Facebook page has pictures of her family but one of our only hard rules is that kids are strictly off limits. This has always been a rule, nothing new, it was just a polite reminder so nobody has their comment removed.

According to this incredibly short obituary, Robert died on November 4, 2021. Robert was certainly anti-vaxx, but as you'll see he did something I haven't seen any other AV I've posted on this site do; he posted a pro-vaxx argument, saying "there's two sides to every story". Robert appeared to consider that argument, but, unfortunately for him, he didn't heed it. Let's see what Robert was posting on Facebook... His wife worked for Peace Health, and is about to lose her job, it seems... According to this obituary, Myron died at home on January 8, 2022. His cause of death wasn't mentioned in the obituary but his friend Deb said it was from Covid. His wife, Kathleen, also died. She passed on June, 22, 2022 but I didn't find her cause of death. Her obituary said she died unexpectedly at her home. She was 68. Was Myron an an anti-masker? You bet. Myron said, "I do believe it's a personal choice to get the covid vaccine…but right here is why I have chosen not to." According to a release from the TSA and this obituary, Dual Function Transportation Safety Officer Ira Lerman died of Covid on January 24th, 2022. The TSA release also added that Lerman was the 35th TSA employee who has passed away after a Covid-19 infection. According to an April 2022 Forbes article that number is now 36 and they've since stopped reporting Covid cases among employees. If you look at Ira's picture, he seems like a pleasant individual. Then you see his Facebook page. Honestly, it's one of the more interesting ones I've seen in my SAV days. First, he shared many of his posts three times each. I guess he REALLY wanted to make sure his posts were seen. Second, he commented on his own posts but almost nobody else did. Third, I think he had a problem with his CAPS lock key because it seemed to be sticking most of the time. He says: "Population control through vaccination plays a significant role in the implementation of the communist/socialist dem's "Great Reset!" No more need for bullets or Zyclon-b gas chambers." Clearly, he was against vaccines. Here is a small sample of his anti-vaccine posts. He shared this post, from now-defunct PatriotDailyPress.org, that scientists want to tattoo children as proof they've been vaccinated and then continued on a rant about the 99.999999% probability of survival. I guess he was one of the special 00.000001%. I decided to see what this post was about and indeed, MIT created a special ink that could serve as a vaccination record. It was developed before Covid existed. It was for the purpose of being used in underdeveloped countries still fighting diseases like polio and measles with vaccinations but paper and/or electronic vaccination records don't exist. This was a project from the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, so of course the conspiracy nuts ran with it. He was adamantly opposed to vaccine mandates. He really had a thing against Dr. Anthony Fauci. Unsurprisingly, he was not a fan of President Biden. He thought the 2020 Presidential election was rigged. As a TSA employee, I can't imagine how many times Ira must have been exposed to Covid. TSA employees were required to wear nitrile gloves and masks and I'm sure that helped protect him to an extent. Federal employees were required to be vaccinated or request a medical or religious exemption by November 22nd, 2021. Maybe he did get vaccinated, maybe he got an exemption, or maybe he got a fake vaccine card (I have found MANY sources for those online). We can't be sure. Even if he DID get a vaccine to comply with his employer's mandate, one dose and no boosters is almost no match for Covid these days, as he found out. RIP Ira I'd like to quickly address some complaints that we've had at SAV. Yes, this guy died in January. I know this isn't the "fresh meat" many desire. However, it is a new story to SAV. SAV's first post was on May 17, 2021. Since then we've featured over 400 people in 425 days. That's a lot of content but it's becoming increasingly difficult to find SAV-worthy candidates so we have to take what we can get, even if it's not "fresh." The other option is not to make any new posts if they're "not fresh enough", which I don't think most of our readers want. Last evening we received a submission but by the time I went to check it out, less than 8 hours later, the profile was scrubbed. This happens a lot. Between SAV and the Herman Cain Awards, we've put the highlight on anti-vaxxers and when fans/pro-vaxxers find one in the wild, they start commenting on their page and then the anti-vaxxer usually shuts it down. Also, the anti-vaxxers are aware of sites like ours and many have locked their accounts down so they are not visible to the public. That makes getting content for SAV more difficult. We hear you and we are trying to deliver new and fresh stories for SAV but please understand that it's getting tougher, not because the anti-vaxxers aren't out there but because they're going into hiding.

You see, I am a believer in the horseshoe theory of extreme political spectrum when it comes to rationality and science. Far right-wing and far left-wing are equally irrational and equally dismissive of science. They also tend to have enormous faith in make-believe spirits: on the right it is Jesus, and on the left it is "life force". The thing that seems to keep them separate is the amount of empathy they feel for others. These hippie leftists care much more about the suffering of other people and other creatures, so much so that many are vegan completely out of empathy. Anyway, I was wrong: there simply aren't as many of these left-wing anti-vaxxers as there are right-wing, and that's because the left wing doesn't have the political and financial equivalent of Fox News, Newsmax, and OANN. There is no Candace Owens or Tucker Carlson of the left-wing tree hugging anti-vaxxers. Also, the Russian troll farms aren't targeting those people with memes. RIP Dorothy.

According to this obituary, April died on February 4, 2022. She died from COVID. April was against vaccination for herself and her boys. Her husband, Luke, was vaccinated -- I assume for a job -- but then again he was on disability for a back injury, so I'm not sure why Luke was vaccinated. April claims that her doctor told her not to get vaccinated because of her own health issues and thyroid. If that's true, her doctor should be sued. She was pushing 300 lbs and a walking "comorbidity", ripe for severe illness when she got COVID. This family is not insured. Like I said, Luke is on disability, and April had some spinal issues that caused her to take a leave of absence. When that ran out and she lost her job and her insurance, and she was fighting for disability so she could get medicare. How anti-vaxx was April? Well, she was definitely against it, and had a few rants about mandates and people's attitudes toward the unvaxxed. She did explain her "situation" about her doctor's recommendations and her health reasons a few times. Other than that, I'm not willing to put her in the SAV category of "anti-vaxxer". 90% of her posts are about her son's rock band "Blurred In10tions" which came in 2nd in a 16 band battle of bands in her area. So why am I posting this? For anti-vaxxers to see. First, both April and Luke got COVID: the vaxxed one lived, and the unvaxxed one didn't. Second, everyone should see Luke's heartfelt video updates on April. Luke is the opposite of these "Karens" we've had on SAV lately, who bitch about hospital staff. Watch all of Luke's videos posted here and earn a badge. Luke has nothing but love for his wife AND the doctors and nurses who cared for her. Because this is a long post here is a link to the bottom. In one of the video updates he figures this out by talking to a friend whose spouse went through the same thing on the meds. They need an ECMO machine to be delivered (she's too sick to travel), but eight hospitals have turned them down since they need it themselves. This is tough to watch: Luke appreciates the doctors and nurses who are not only caring for April but praying for her.
